Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Margaret River and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (672 people or 13.2%)
  • Construction (514 people or 10.1%)
  • Retail Trade (509 people or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,695 people in total or 33.3% of the total employed resident population.
