There were more professionals in CAD East in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in CAD East in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (669 people or 38.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (243 people or 14.1%)
  • Managers (228 people or 13.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,140 people in total or 66.2% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Adelaide employed 37.5% in Professionals; 13.3% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 13.7% in Managers.

The major difference between the jobs held by the population of CAD East and the City of Adelaide was:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed as Professionals (38.8% compared to 37.5%)
