Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in South East Overlay in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (505 people or 15.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (489 people or 14.9%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (370 people or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,364 people in total or 41.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, CAD West employed 11.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 12.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 22.3% in Accommodation and Food Services.
