Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Upper North Adelaide in 2011 compared to the City of Adelaide shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 12.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 3.6% were one-parent families, compared with 7.6% and 3.7% respectively for the City of Adelaide.

There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children.
