Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Lower North Adelaide in 2021 compared to the City of Adelaide shows that 84.8% of the households owned at least one car, while 10.9% did not, compared with 64.0% and 29.2% respectively in the City of Adelaide.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.

Overall, 49.0% of the households owned one car; 28.4% owned two cars; and 7.4% owned three cars or more, compared with 46.1%; 14.4% and 3.4% respectively for the City of Adelaide.
