Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Wagga Wagga City in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,469 males or 14.6%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (2,078 males or 12.2%)
  • Manufacturing (1,470 males or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,017 males in total or 35.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Forest Hill - East Wagga Wagga employed 9.1% in Construction; 39.7% in Public Administration and Safety; and 9.2% in Manufacturing.
