Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Wagga Wagga City in 2016 compared to the City of Greater Bendigo shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 94.5% of the labour force was employed, and 5.5% unemployed, compared with 93.6% and 6.4% respectively for the City of Greater Bendigo.
